Skills and Mentors is a community-based organization (CBO) founded in 2014 and based in Bungoma County, Kenya. We empower women and youth through food security support, skills development, mentorship, and civic awareness.

To improve household livelihoods and democratic participation through agricultural support, capacity building, mentorship, and civic education.
We work through grassroots community structures across all sub-counties in Bungoma County. Our programs combine direct support, training, mentorship, and partnerships with government, local organizations, and development agencies.
Skills and Mentors implements programs that support women and young people across all sub-counties in Bungoma County.
Supporting women farmers (35–60 years) with fertilizers, certified seeds, and training in climate-smart agriculture to improve food production and income.
Training and mentoring young women (20–34 years) in vocational skills, entrepreneurship, ICT, and safe motherhood.
Community civic education on voter rights, responsibilities, and active participation in governance.
Skills training, agribusiness support, and civic engagement for young men to reduce dependence on low-income trades.
